New web site offers two ways to see reviews in a different way.

KangaReview.com was established to combine the increasingly social aspect of the internet seen on sites such as Facebook and Twitter to everyday reviewing of products, businesses, in fact, anything at all. Reviews are a common sight on e-commerce web sites, made popular by the successful use Amazon made of their review engine.

Nathan Vingoe, CEO of KangaReview.com says "Users can expect more from the internet now, it's not just pages and pages of data. Social networking and the clever things that sites like Google do with your data have started to change users' perception of the internet. When searching for a product, the best reviews are on large sites where thousands of users a day will deliver an evolving view of a product by the sheer number of people influencing the reviews. When you come to purchase an item, better deals are often offered by smaller sites that can't provide a user the quality of review data the larger ones can. KangaReview is addressing this for all users on all sites in two ways: by collating reviews drawn from many different sites, and complementing them with KangaReview's own community reviews all in one place. This ultimately provides a larger and more comprehensive database of information from which to derive a specialised search, thereby offering users more reviews than any other site currently offers.

With so many reviews available, it is virtually impossible to wade through the mass of information to any real effect. It is at present is a very random process - short of reading them all, how can we be sure we have read the most relevant and helpful? KangaReview provides a much more specific and tailored set of results by using a mixture of intelligent systems and the community of KangaReview users; defining the reviews into categories, rating their usefulness, and filtering them for relevance to an individual.
