I never realised how clear a monitor could be until I got this monitor. I already have a flat screen but this wide screen high resolution monitor has all the usual adjustments, but also can be adjusted in height and can be angled to portrait. It is not cheap and as yet I have no reason to use the high resolution, but I am quite chuffed with it. Optimum resolution is 1680 x 1050 at 60hz
