This hand held mixer is very versatile - it has a large selection of speeds and the motor can be attached to a collection of units (jugs with tops on) and used to mix in bowls. it is sometimes called the Minipimer professional (MR 5500 (although the numbers might have been updated by now) - but it is so much easier to use than one of these mixers that stands on your table and takes up a lot of room. Mine simply sits in a rack screwed to the wall so is easily accessed and takes up very little room. Go for it - invest.
