What amazing flowers these are. I was introduced to these recently at a gardening club meeting and have subsequently bought some. The literally flower for a day - but they have lots of flowers, so you can have one a day for weeks if you tend them properly - and there are over 20,000 species! some of them look almost like large orchids and have quite stunning colours. Once you have a few you can split them - or propogate them and develop your own species! They are worth having in your garden.
